QS-DMSS is an Apache-2.0, evidence-first simulation lab. Researchers can run deterministic scenarios, inspect and replay evidence, compare Campaign Studio studies, export publication-oriented research objects, and preserve public-data provenance.
Current milestone: v0.12.0 - Simulator-First Quantum Readiness
v0.12.0 adds a bounded Fractal SSFM circuit sidecar validated against the NumPy reference, a provider-neutral QPU request bundle, and a 12-row compilation/resource-attribution matrix across generic topologies.
The boundary is explicit: no provider credentials, remote quantum API, QPU execution, job submission, or authorized spend. These are reviewable software evidence artifacts, not quantum advantage or peer-reviewed scientific validation.
Support funds visible open-source outcomes:
- public package, Studio, GitHub, and Zenodo maintenance
- evidence bundles, replay, verification, reports, and accessibility
- independent numerical and quantum-compilation review
- Campaign Studio, Lab Mode, and publication-export improvements
- careful HPC/RSE and provider-policy review before real connectors
- documentation, onboarding, validation scenarios, and contributor support
