Traditional open-source licenses like MIT, Apache, or GPL were designed for a world where humans manually copy code. Today, Large Language Models (LLMs) and automated crawlers ingest entire repositories, training on your unique logic and replicating your core methodologies without giving attribution or respecting your rights.
- Granular Block-Level Markers: Annotate your code using semantic signals such as [RCF:PUBLIC] for architectural interfaces, [RCF:PROTECTED] for core algorithms (visible for audit, but AI training and replication are prohibited), and [RCF:RESTRICTED] for sensitive details.
- Cryptographic Integrity and Ownership Proofs: Generate verifiable signature reports (RCF-AUDIT-REPORT.json) containing SHA-256 signatures of all protected blocks to prove authorship mathematically.
- Active Defense Tools: Inject AST-level structural noise to confuse automated parser systems, and embed designed canary functions to detect unauthorized code replication.
