About
medicine for liberation. We believe that basic medical necessities and personal hygiene should not be paywalled as a premium service behind elevated insurance, copays, and office visits, or behind the luxury of transportation; we aim to alleviate the burden from some of our most vulnerable members of the population by providing free basic first aid, assist in picking up prescription medicines for those with transportation limitations, and contributing necessities such as water and personal hygiene products.
We provide medic support at events, organize workshops, trainings, and skill-shares, and empower our community to understand and care for their health and safety.
We first formed on June 3, 2020 as a response to the police riots escalating nationally and locally from the George Floyd Uprising. Several of our medics received intensive 20hr Training from Atlanta Resistance Medics (ARM) in 2021. Since then, we have grown into an active collective of both new and experienced street medics, and held our first local 20hr in July 2025. In addition to providing medic support, we work on community health projects, and signal boosting vital and relative community trainings.
