3rd Annual Turkey Drive (2022)

 

Dear Community Members and Supporters,

We are excited to announce our THIRD (!!!) Annual Turkey Drive hosted by the Roslindale Community Fridge! Please join us on Sunday, November 20th, 3pm to 5pm at the Fridge Location behind Roslindale Market at 4140 Washington St. for this holiday event!

As a community organization focused on mutual aid, we rely on the support of our community members to make this drive a success. We are seeking volunteers and monetary donations to serve our Roslindale neighbors and provide Thanksgiving turkeys and chickens for their family celebrations. Please consider donating to our Turkey Drive to help provide a Thanksgiving meal to a local neighbor in need. All donations will go toward the purchase of turkeys, chickens, and other Thanksgiving meal ingredients. Any contribution - big or small - will make an impact!

Last year, we provided turkeys and chickens to over 100 of our Roslindale neighbors. This year, we hope to double that impact and serve over 200 families! The fridge has not been able to stay full for more than an hour, and we see the impact of inflation on costs of food and living. We need to step up, and continue to be present, for our friends, families and neighbors!
