Friends,
We're back from hiatus (during which I moved to Montevideo, Uruguay), and I'm sending this quick email to inform you of that as well as two other important announcements:
First, the SAR Editorial Collective is happy to welcome Arvilla Fee as our newest poetry editor. Yesterday, we published her poem, "Write for Me," a title and work we think fits perfectly as we return from our time away and invite continued contributions from all of you.
The other announcement is an invitation to join us and other publishing communities using PubPub tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25, 2022, to celebrate OA Week at a Climate Justice Pub(Pub) Crawl. We'll chat a little about our climate mitigation work and what SAR is all about. Along with myself, folks from Sustainable Futures Lab, Computing within Limits, Center for Apocalyptic and Post-Apocalyptic Studies, Data & Analytics for Good, Open Ocean and others will briefly speak, share their communities and discuss greater open sharing. We hope to see you there!
