Entanglees,
We gave your inbox a break over August while we, depending on the collective member and without naming names, traveled, translated, procrastinated, edited, broke, neglected, gave up, fought, relented, persisted and finally collaborated (among other things) in finishing the print edition we promised. (Fortunately, only one person has preordered (thanks, Bruce!), so we don't owe most of you anything.) Ingram notified us this morning that SAR is now available for purchase.
Alongside this issue of San Antonio Review, we also put the finishing touches on our second SAR Press release, City Lights From the Upside Down, former SAR poetry editor Alex Z. Salinas' debut collection of short fiction.
William O. Pate II Founding Editor & Publisher San Antonio Review sareview.org Read excerpts from City Lights From the Upside Down by Alex Z. Salinas. Read an excerpt from Mel Bay's Book of the Dead by Harold Whit Williams. Get your read on with books from local independent booksellers or the SAR Bookshop. Get SAR gear at 787atx.me.
