I've finally had enough uninterrupted time to sit down and finish the patch that deprecates "items" and instead establishes a flat namespace for records. This change will enable a variety of applications that didn't fit right into "items" and allows for establishing relationships between otherwise independent records seamlessly. It also would enable things like on-demand downloads (where it is warranted).

In anticipation of this feature being released (in 0.5.0) I've cut 0.4.1 that enables release version users to access .sit in sit's own repository.
