Drupal has a passionate and engaged community that is the envy of the open source world. A key to its success is the rich ecosystem of contributed modules that make Drupal adaptable and customizable to provide robust solutions for a vast array of use cases. 

Already Smart has benefitted greatly from numerous community contributions: feature requests, feedback on patches, documentation, and patches to add new capabilities or help to fix bugs. While all forms community contributions are welcomed and encouraged, not everyone who relies on Smart Date has the time or expertise to contribute to its ongoing evolution in these ways.

Smart Date went from an idea to one of Drupal.org's 500 most popular modules in less than two years, thanks to a variety of contributions, but also because of a need for Drupal to keep pace with other solutions that exist to manage dates and times. Your support, be it financial or one of the other forms mentioned above, will ensure that Smart Date will continue to build on this momentum, and help Drupal continue to offer feature-rich capabilities in the important area of managing dates and times.
