A lot of citizen led change has happened in Spacemakers park over the last 2 years. And there are more changes on the horizon.
This will be an event to:

- Celebrate the parks history (Sharing the story of the original youth-led project that created the space)
- Shine a light on the recent improvements and the young people that took part.
- Meet the people that are working to improve the park, share our plans or the future and encourage local people to get involved.
- We would like to work with local people (including the young people that have taken part in improving the park over the last two years) to design and personalise this sign.
- The original spacemakers project was about young people having a sense of ownership and pride in their local park ad this is something we have been working to re-ignite.
We would like to work with a local artist to support residents to decorate the large spacemakers sign in a way that represents and celebrates local people.
I would especially like to give local young people the opportunity to feel part of something and to have a public piece of art that is their own creation.
