Published on June 2, 2024 by Winstina Hughes

Maplewood, New Jersey – June 2, 2024 – Support Inclusion in Tech (SiNC), an initiative dedicated to promoting inclusivity within the WordPress community, is excited to announce its first ticket purchase for its inaugural event, "Mastering the Art of WordCamp Networking." David Wolfpaw purchased a ticket for the virtual event.

"We are encouraged by David's support," says Winstina Hughes, founder of Support Inclusion in Tech. "This first ticket purchase is a significant step towards strengthening diverse and inclusive local WordPress communities."

SiNC is fundraising exclusively with Open Collective, a crowdfunding platform designed for grassroots movements and open-source projects. Open Collective allows initiatives like SiNC to raise funds flexibly and transparently through recurring subscriptions or one-time donations.

SiNC's financial support helps mitigate costs associated with attending and speaking at WordCamps. By covering travel and accommodation, SiNC empowers a wider range of voices to share their expertise within the WordPress community.
