About
Te Rourou Koha is a leadership and governance structure for a collective of timebanks in Otautahi. It actively supports communities to start new timebanks, and sets up processes and digital infrastructure for inter-trading across timebanking nodes across the city.
Timebanking allows citizens to seek and offer support without the use of legal tender, whilst building community capacity thus alleviating poverty.
Our name was gifted by Ngai Tahu iwi.
