Tech Enterprises champions, fosters and supports entrepreneurship as a productive method of economic development in Maine. Our network of technology entrepreneurs, investors, and mentors collectively incubate and launch small-to-medium-sized tech sector businesses. We are on a mission to spur economic growth and vitality in rural communities by catalyzing higher-wage opportunities and attracting international revenue streams. In doing so, we also hope to improve Maine's position as a hub for innovative technology and entrepreneurship.
We plan to provide a range of services to support the success of tech start-ups in the state. Our first major goal is to establish the pilot incubator to be the testing ground for a network of workspaces, where entrepreneurs can potentially work and collaborate with others in a productive environment. The incubator also encourages mentorship and collaboration to help entrepreneurs develop their ideas and grow their businesses. Various networking opportunities and events allow entrepreneurs to connect with potential partners, investors, and customers. Lastly, the incubator intends to provide access to funding sources, such as grants and venture capital, to help entrepreneurs secure the financial resources they need to compete effectively. Together, these services will provide a comprehensive support system for tech entrepreneurs in Maine geared to help anyone succeed.
