We primarily seek to host two types of articles:
- Accessible but technically informed overviews of the state of the art and its future. Some examples include The Economics of AI Today, Introduction to Artificial Life for People who Like AI, and The Promise of Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning.
- Critical and well-informed perspectives on artificial intelligence topics by researchers and experts in the field. Some examples include NLP's ImageNet moment has arrived, Quantifying Independently Reproducible Machine Learning, and The #BenderRule: On Naming the Languages We Study and Why It Matters.
We intend to foster a community of students, researchers and practitioners working together to demystify and democratize our technological future. In particular, we aim to be a platform for those who do not already have a popular blog or large following, so that you can express yourself and be heard based on the merits of what you have to say and not your current stature.
We have published over 100 article since going live in April of 2018.
