Workshops and Resources for Schools

 

Our primary school workshops are led by our Project Leaders, Emmanuel or Isaac and introduce children to the love of nature, inspiring conservation through our art and totem workshops.  Information leaflets are provided at all our workshops.

Many educational themes are explored in our film, The Rwenzori Rainmakers, from community and health, to totem culture abd wildlife and restoration, with rainmaking and other climate concerns, alongside many more. We intend to reversion some topics into schemes of work with supportive material for teachers and pupils. 

Your donations will support local travel, Teacher's notes, lesson plans, pupil handouts and facilitator fees but importantly this project covers services by skilled education consultants with expert knowledge of local curriculums and core studies at all age ranges, and video re-editing costs too. 
Our UK costs for research, production and editing of educational resource materials required are initially US $8,500.00 / EURO 13,200.00 / UGX 31,771,810.00
USA costs researched have come in at approx $15,000.00 plus editing
AFRICAN costs researched have come in at approx $6,000.00 plus editing
We hope to provide Teachers' Resources for use in the classroom for USA, Africa and UK to begin with.
