Every Dollar Counts!
The Xylom will run out of funding in July if we don't secure $7,500 by the end of the month. Can we count on you to sustain nonprofit, nonpartisan news?
The Xylom, the only Asian American-run news outlet covering science, climate, and the environment, will run out of funding in July if we don't secure $7,500 by the end of the month.
Despite a skeleton team, in just the past three months, our reporting:
- revealed how the transnational crude oil export industry turned what residents call "a slice of heaven" in South Texas into "hell"
- led to the first weekend rail transit service improvements in Atlanta in two decades (!)
- shed light on how immigrants, researchers, and concerned citizens have navigated issues at the intersection of science and society under unprecedented attacks by the Trump administration.
However, we can get through this together. If even one quarter of our readers and social media followers gave just ONE dollar a month, we would be able to meet our budget without additional support from grants.
We've been there for you when you needed us the most. Can we count on you to sustain nonprofit, nonpartisan news?
