Will you stand up for democracy after Election Day?
Published on November 6, 2024 by Alex Ip
Yesterday, Americans cast their votes, the results of which could not have been clearer. This will impact all of us and environment, public health, and climate policy for years to come.
This Election Day served as a powerful reminder of why all of us at The Xylom come to work every day. Our nonprofit newsroom is built on the ideals of democracy, and we know you rely on our unbiased and data-driven journalism to stay civically engaged all year long.
This is crucial work, but it is not without cost. During this vitally important election year, our reporters have been taking on extra assignments and tirelessly pursuing stories that need to be told. This won’t stop any time soon, and certainly not in a future second Trump administration.
Thank you very much for being a donor and supporting the public service that The Xylom provides. If you’re able to give an additional donation, we’d be so grateful for the vote of confidence that our work is valuable to you. We are here for you as we brace for what happens ahead; we ask that you lock arms with us too.
