Exciting Update from TOCK.earth
Published on March 16, 2024 by June Burney
Since starting TOCK.earth in 2021 we have now reached over 10000 tamariki through our in class workshops (with many, many thousands more online) with some fantastic feedback from teachers, parents and children.
We have been working very hard recently on creating a live, fully interactive online version of our workshops so we can reach tamariki right across NZ.
It fills our heart to hear that people are truly starting to see the genuine, longterm positive impact of our initiative/creation - and we have been blown away by some of the recognition we are receiving recently...

June Burney of TOCK.earth was very proud to be chosen as a KiwiBank New Zealander of the Year Local Hero Medallist in 2023
TOCK.earth was awarded both a Gold Award for Environment and Sustainability and to be chosen as the overall People's Choice Winner at the Selwyn Awards in 2023.
We have also been busy producing educational music videos with our Kaitiaki music video featuring NZ Sign Language and Te Reo Māori being a runner up in a global children's music video award in 2023 too.
This year we plan to add 4 new environmental education songs and extend our workshop offerings.
We still fund much of this from our own personal pockets as we still struggle to find funders who understand the importance and value of empowering the next generation for a brighter future and would love to hear from any supporters in this space.
