The Advocacy Academy
Our fiscal hosting service gives unincorporated groups a safe and transparent way to receive funding and manage their money. We take care of the admin and finance, so you can focus on changing the world.

What can a Collective do?
- Use of our bank account to receive donations and grants, so need to worry about financial oversight and management.
- Set recurring donations, such as monthly membership charges
- Reimburse your volunteers. Pay invoices for services
- Request money from another Collective
What does The Advocacy Academy provide?
The Advocacy Academy is a youth organising movement, working to create a more fair and just society in which young people with lived experience of injustice have the power to make lasting change for themselves and their communities. We combine the practice of community organising, rigorous training in justice systems, with the heart and soul of radical youth work. We bring together 16–25-year-olds from South London, giving them the skills to act, and a community which doesn’t just fight for a single issue but is ready to come back time and time again to demand systemic change across multiple areas for our shared liberation.
By choosing us as your fiscal host, you’ll be able to access a number of our resources and become a part of a wider network of groups and individuals doing incredible work! We will provide you with a platform where transactions (income and expenses) are transparently logged meaning you won't have to spend time on reporting.
Fees
Our fiscal hosting fees are 10% on incoming transactions (contributions).
We can also provide a grant management service. This means you can apply for formal grants using us as a Host. We usually charge 5% on the incoming grant. Please get in touch if you're looking to apply for funding.
