Want to flex your knowledge to win some fun prizes and support trans people's ongoing access to blood testing? Come to our pub quiz at Variety Bar on 1st February 2026! With round themes from LGBT history to bloodsuckers, and prizes including art prints, kink gear, zines, and more, you don't want to miss this!

Start turning up from 7pm, and make sure you're in teams for 7:30pm when the quiz will start. If you and some friends want to all come together as a team, please do! You can also come alone and find your team when you get there. Teams can be from 3-5 people, and if you're on your own and need to find some quizmates, just grab our host or one of our volunteers who will help make sure everyone is in a team before the quiz starts.

Who is your host you may ask? Retired drag king Sir Evervayne is back from the dead for one last rodeo hosting this quiz for us, so look forward to campy question delivery and plenty of innuendo!

The quiz should end around 9:30-10pm!

Tickets do not have a price directly associated in our ticketing system, but we ask that you make a donation accompanying your ticket purchase - this is after all a fundraiser! The suggested donation for entry is £6.

Access information:

The quiz is taking place at Variety Bar, 401 Sauchiehall Street, G2 3LG. The venue has a capacity of approximately 50. The entry is street-level and step free, with a doorway wide enough for most wheelchairs (exact measurements coming soon!), however the venue bathrooms are down a full flight of stairs. There is a mixture of standard height and high bar stool seating, with some of the seats lacking back support. The lighting in the venue space is somewhat dim and there will be music playing when the quiz is not underway. There is no hearing aid loop.

The quiz will be read out loud. We do not currently have a BSL interpreter available, but we can provide written versions of the questions if needed, just message us in advance and let us know how you would need them formatted for readability. One round does involve the playing of music to be identified. There are no picture rounds.

The quiz questions do touch on some adult themes, and some of the prizes are kink gear, but this is in a bar so we were assuming that everyone is going to be 18+, we just wanted to give you the heads up so you can make an informed decision if you wanted to invite family members or something.
