Hi my name is Micah Cedrwydd Lynch, I'm a genderqueer man living in West Wales. Because of my mental health issues my only income is Universal Credit and saddly it's just not enough to help and unfortunately I now have £1 to last me until my next payday in two weeks.

With the summer heat I realise now that I could really really do with some summer clothes, most of my summer clothes are very feminine in a way that makes me dysphoric, and since I don't have a fan I'm hoping to minimise how hot I am by getting thinner clothing. I could also do with buying food but there is a food bank near me and I'll be calling Citizens Advice for a referral tomorrow and honestly I'm a weird one I'd rather be hungry than boiling hot. The electricity is also running low so if I was allowed the grant I would probably spend a some of it on making sure I don't have to worry about that. Lastly I was thinking of getting a reusable period product to save on costs of pads because unfortunately that's a monthly issue.

Hope this isn't too long or too short, this is my first time trying to do something like this. Either way, thanks so much for your time. If you want to verify who I am my Instagram is @sheepishleee.

Have a lovely day.

Expense policies
We accept claims for the cost of medications, food, transport to appointments, counselling and anything related to your transition. We also support trans, nonbinary, and intersex (TIN) folk with bills and living expenses. We do not currently accept claims for money for pet expenses.

If you are applying for the first time, please provide the first half of your postcode and a link to one of your social media accounts in the "additional invoice information" box. This is to verify your identity and prevent scammers from taking money from trans people.

Please also let us know how much you need (max. £60 per month) and what you need it for (eg. bills, food, debt etc etc) in the "additional invoice information" box.

We don't allow reoccurring grants set through open collective, we ask that you don't set your grant to reoccur automatically as it adds strain to our grant team and can create duplicate expenses.

For our full policy, please read the below document for full requirements when submitting for funding. https://transaid.cymru/types-of-grants/
