The wheelchair I am hoping to receive funding for is one that offers both support and flexibility—qualities essential for enabling me to engage in daily activities and community life. Such a wheelchair would make a tangible difference in my life, granting me the ability to move independently, leave my home more comfortably, and pursue work, education, and social opportunities without the intense pain and fatigue that currently limit me. In effect, this grant would not just support my immediate health needs but would enhance my overall wellbeing.
I fully understand that funds may be limited, and I would be grateful for consideration when any additional resources are available. I am hopeful that, in time, my application can be revisited if there is the possibility for grant funding.

We accept claims for the cost of medications, food, transport to appointments, counselling and anything related to your transition. We also support trans, nonbinary, and intersex (TIN) folk with bills and living expenses. We do not currently accept claims for money for pet expenses.

Collective admins are notified when an expense is submitted, and they can approve or reject it.
Is my private data made public?
No. Only the expense amount and description are public. Attachments, payment info, emails and addresses are only visible to you and the admins.
When will I get paid?
Payments are processed by the Collective's Fiscal Host, the organization that hold funds on their behalf. Many Fiscal Hosts pay expenses weekly, but each one is different.
Why do you need my legal name?
The display name is public and the legal name is private, appearing on receipts, invoices, and other official documentation used for tax and accounting purposes.
