Transdonians is a free and accessible monthly social peer group for all 18+ trans and non-binary people in Dundee and the surrounding Tayside area. We aim to reduce social isolation by providing a fun, safe, sober, and inclusive space to meet, explore our identities, and build a community ran by and for local trans people.

We have built significant momentum and moved to larger premises with the aim to support our growing membership, hold meetups more frequently, and offer a greater variety of activities in response to member feedback and community need.
In Tayside, trans and non-binary adults in particular are severely under-served and overlooked across healthcare, statutory/voluntary services, and social opportunities. Our grassroots group formed in summer 2022 following the pandemic out of necessity, to create our own space to support each other while driving for change and progress. Many of our members are actively engaged in advocacy and activism work to improve the lives of not only local trans Taysiders, but the wider LGBT+ scene as a whole.
