Tviste Club

Welcome to Tviste Club, a vibrant student organization dedicated to enhancing the living experience for residents of Tvistevägen in Umeå. Our mission is to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive community where students can easily settle in, connect with one another, and thrive during their time at university.

At the heart of our community is Tvistehuset, the club’s own clubhouse. This is more than just a meeting place—it's a hub for social interaction, creativity, and collaboration. Whether you're looking to host an event, hold a meeting, or simply hang out with friends, Tvistehuset is your go-to space.

To support student-led initiatives, Tviste Club offers Mini Grants. These grants provide financial assistance for activities and events that bring residents together and contribute to the well-being of our neighborhood. We offer reimbursements for expenses up to 500 SEK for smaller events, and grants up to 5,000 SEK for larger initiatives. The goal is to empower students to take an active role in creating a vibrant, inclusive community.

In addition to financial support, Tviste Club manages Tvistebanken, a sharing network designed to make life easier for our residents. We provide storage space for essential items like tools, furniture, and bikes, ensuring that everyone has access to what they need to settle in comfortably. Given that the flats at Tvistevägen come unfurnished, Tvistebanken is an invaluable resource for new residents looking to furnish their homes without unnecessary expense.

Tviste Club is managed by a team of Resident Assistants (RAs) employed by Campus X, our landlord. These RAs are not only responsible for supporting residents as they move in and adjust to life at Tvistevägen, but they also play a crucial role in organizing events, managing Tvistehuset, and ensuring that our community remains a welcoming and inclusive environment.
