 Server Infrastructure: Cloud Hosting for Beta Testing 

While I've highlighted repeatedly that our primary feature is the mobile client and its ability to provide a hands-free voice AI experience for learning, we've come to realize something important as we've progressed: if we simply rely on connecting directly to providers for LLM and text-to-speech services, we will not achieve the free and accessible platform we're striving for. 

 
With that in mind, we almost immediately started putting together a server. Initially it was focused on managing client access to curriculum and a few other administrative functions. We started hosting models on that server thinking it would be a good test bed to experiment with, but it became obvious very fast that this really was a primary path forward.
 

 
We have great hope and desire to ultimately provide and sustain, through hosted servers, these services to the community at large in some equitable fashion that provides as much access to those in need as possible.
 

 
Before we can offer services to the broader community, we need to complete appropriate rounds of beta testing with external clients to validate our server platform and ensure it:
 

For this, we need to host our server in the cloud with a major provider capable of offering GPU resources for model hosting.
 

 
This project is about bootstrapping that hosting. It certainly is not the only way we're working to sustain this effort, but for now we simply need to get beta testing underway.
 
We are pursuing as many different paths as possible to secure funding or hosting credits. There are no guarantees on any single path, so we must explore multiple avenues. Consider also that long-term hosting providing access to the greatest number of people is nearly a bottomless need, so no resources will be wasted. We plan to ensure that any resources earmarked for this effort remain dedicated to this effort.
