Here's what we've been up to!

Hello everyone, just wanted to give some updates on the work we've been doing! Always grateful for the funding & donations- they allow this work to continue!
We've been able to expand two different programs & we're getting ready to host our first in-person event since 2021! Your kind donations/funding are being used towards our Pass it On Mutual Aid Program & our Radical Essentials for the Youth initiative.
The Undoing Our Erasure Pass it On Mutual Aid program has been providing emergency funding through the form of paying utility bills, buying groceries for families if they are in need, taking items off of a mother's nursery wishlist, buying school supplies for students, transportation for those who are in need of a bus card or ride home, etc.
The Radical Essentials for the Youth initiative has been distributing free literature & art-centered kits to young people between the ages of 12-24. This is a project that made its year anniversary this month- excited for many more years of doing this work!
Lastly- we're hosting a movie screening & collage workshop on the 17th through our newest program- Guided by Art. This program is working to expose individuals to cultures across the diaspora and use the power of artistic expression as a vehicle for Black liberation. We'll be hosting movie screenings, dance classes, artist talks, and more. This Sunday we're watching In Our Mothers' Gardens & closing out with a collage workshop. Will be posting pictures of how that event goes!
Thank you again so much for your very vital support.
