2022 is coming to a close. Time to reflect on what this year had in store for US-RSE, and what lies ahead! 

Financially, US-RSE is grateful for its individual donors! We love to see that people believe in what we do and support it. We used some money to pay for the election software for the 2022 Steering Committee Election, and saved the remainder to use for larger efforts in 2023.

We are very much looking forward to 2023! First and foremost, the first ever US-RSE conference will be held in Chicago, October 16th - 18th. We are expecting interesting talks, workshops, tutorials, posters, and so much more. Check out the conference website that will be updated as new information becomes available. 

Furthermore, we have three new members joining the Steering Committee in 2023: Rinku Gupta, Kenton McHenry, and Miranda Mundt. We look forward to seeing what ideas and visions they have for US-RSE. We wholeheartedly thank outgoing Steering Committee members Chris Hill, Daniel Katz, and Lance Parsons. They all were founding members of US-RSE and volunteered hundreds of hours over the past four years creating US-RSE. Thank you!
