Wintu Language Circle

We are Wintu language advocates, learners and culture bearers.  We are revitalizing our Wintu language and healing our spirits.  We are encouraging the use of our indigenous language in order to pass it on to our children and the future generations.  The use of our language empowers us to see the world the way our ancestors did.  It's helping to heal the traumas that we have survived as indigenous people.  We are striving to speak Wintu, think Wintu, and to have Wintu in our hearts.
