About

Wood Street Mutual Aid is all of us.

Wood Street Mutual Aid group was formed during the Covid-19 pandemic by local residents, for residents, to help us connect, self-organise, support and value each other and our neighbours. By offering support and solidarity to those of us affected by the pandemic and financial insecurity, we hope to make our community stronger, more resilient and better equipped to face the future together.

We have a phone line for neighbours who are worried, need help with something practical, or just want somebody to talk to. We can collect shopping and medication, deliver healthy meals, offer advice, run errands and more.

Whether you are feeling isolated, self-isolating, having a hard time, or finding yourself with free time and have skills, resources or ideas to share, you can get in touch here:
