About
The Workers Education Society provides services for low-income workers in Illinois residents to apply for state and federal-funded assistance with utility bills and weatherization funding provided by the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP), and a meeting venue for agencies participating with the Community and Economic Development Association (CEDA).
As of May, we have also begun assisting incoming migrants, primarily those staying at the District 9 Police Station, through shower and food support.
