<div> <strong>Our mission</strong> <br /><br /></div><div>All Eyes On Wagner is a project focusing on Wagner mercenaries: tracking their activities and verifying claims of human rights and economic abuses. We rely on open source information and witnesses accounts/leads sent to us which are collected, archived and verified. Our objective is to become a reliable source of information on Wagner mercenaries for key human rights organisations. <br /><br />Our goal is to create <strong>a positive social impact</strong> by:<br />- combatting disinformation and inflence operations attributed to the Wagner Group<br />- reporting ethnic groups harms and human right abuses linked to the Wagner Group<br />- reporting economic abuses linked to the Wagner Group and traficking activities<br />- participating to the litigation efforts for Ukraine for war crimes and crimes against humanity. <br /><br /></div><div><strong><br />Who we are</strong> <br /><br /></div><div>The project has been historically initiated by <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fopenfacto.fr">OpenFacto</a>, a French not for profit organisation with expertise in open-source investigations (OSINT). AEOW is today independent and does not have any financial support.  It is managed on a voluntary-basis by a group of 8 volunteers on their free time from different nationalities and backgrounds: journalists, investigators, experts on disinformation, students, humanitarian and academics. Friends and contacts often provide an extra hand: graphism, research, editing, good advice. <br /><br /><strong>Our impact</strong><br /> </div><div>All Eyes On Wagner project has for ambition to deliver impact: provide a better understanding of Wagner Group’s activities and wrong doings and participate to the on-going accountability work using the latest open source and research techniques. <br /><br /></div><div><em>Media partnership and media coverage </em></div><div>All Eyes On Wagner collaborates with international newsrooms on a regular basis as co-investigators, researchers or for briefings.  AEOW has been featured in international newspapers and documentaries. <br /><strong><br /></strong><em>Advocacy</em> <br />AEOW has published an investigation in partnership with <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Feic.network%2F">EIC</a> revealing Wagner Group timber business in the Central African Republic. This investigation was presented later on to the EU Commission member states for information. <br /><br />In a report focusing on human-right abuses in Mali, AEOW researched the Wagner Group chain of command. This work has been used by the Council of Europe in its <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.europeansanctions.com%2F2023%2F02%2Feu-adopts-10th-package-of-russia-sanctions%2F">10th package of sanctions</a> on Russia on February 25th, 2023. <br /><br /></div><div>Together with <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Feic.network%2F">EIC</a> and <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdossier.center%2F">Dossier Center</a>, AEOW revealed the sale of conflict diamonds by Evgeny Prigozhin in the Central African Republic. This investigation has also been used by the Council of Europe in its <a href="https://opencollective.com/redirect?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.europeansanctions.com%2F2023%2F02%2Feu-adopts-10th-package-of-russia-sanctions%2F">10th package of sanctions</a> on Russia on February 25th, 2023. <br /><br /></div><div><br /><br /></div>
