Hello, fellow earth activists and engaged community lovers. 🌱
We are back and are ready to rumble! In the past few months, we set out on a journey of self-discovery where we took a deep dive into who we are to create a more aligned future for All for Climate. We believe building a strong foundation and a more aligned vision will help us become unstoppable and create a greater impact.🍀

About All for Climate! 👀

The mission of All for Climate is to connect everyone willing to contribute to a regenerative future and to support them emotionally, financially and logistically.

How do we do this?

All For Climate is a community of people who care deeply about the environment and are taking action to create a more sustainable world. Members of this community come from all walks of life, from yogis to lawyers and everyone in between. The main thing that connects us all is the passion for making a positive change. The collectives that are part of All For Climate have done some amazing things, such as organising marches for the climate; starting community gardens; saving trees, starting shelters for refugees, fighting for a better future, promoting vegan food or creating curious science fiction podcasts.

One of the great things about All for Climate is that it is a decentralised movement. Members have the freedom to pursue their own initiatives and ideas, but they can also come together to raise funds and collaborate on projects.

In the back office, All for Climate is organised as a nonprofit to offer our community a safe financial space to raise funds and spend them in a transparent way. The legal entity of All for Climate offers a vehicle for citizens to get organised without too much hassle and admin. They keep full autonomy over their finances, which can be spread all over Europe and beyond. They can also find a home in All for Climate to connect to a legal system and find support. All for Climate uses Open Collective to enable activists to focus on their activism, not bureaucracy.

In short, All for Climate is a bridge between the old and new world. We use modern technology to simplify bureaucracy and enable activists to focus on their activism while also providing a legal and financial framework for members to organize their finances.

The rapid growth of All for Climate shows that there are many people who care about the environment and want to take action. However, we recognized the need to take a pause, reflect on our mission, and plan for the future. We have taken the time to strategise and realign our priorities, so we can be even more effective in creating positive change.

So before we carry on and talk about the NEW and IMPROVED All for Climate and what's to come in 2023, let us show you some of the past highlights of 2022.

The Year's Highlights at a Glance! 👀

  • Collectives raised a total amount of 876.935 EUR in 2022 (in 2021 we raised 448,946)🎉
  • We paid a dazzling number of 1370 expenses in 2022 (compared to 747 in 2021)💸
  • We currently support 198 active collectives. All of them are grassroots collectives working on climate and social justice-related projects.❤️✊🏽

A fresh start for 2023

2022 couldn't have ended with happier news. All for Climate has struggled, since the very beginning, with being financially sustainable. It's almost ironic that we've been supporting climate activists around the world for years and kind of neglected to do the same for ourselves. Receiving the news that the Climate Emergency Fund would financially support us gave us an enormous boost to start reorganising and finally realising some of our dreams:
  • Launching an All for Climate Academy
  • Launching a Resilience Academy to deepen our support to activists and regens. Please participate in this short survey to help us learn how to support you best.
  • Setting up a sister organisation in Africa
  • And last but not least, our website needs a serious update!

Sneak Peek...

Resilience Academy

Are you looking for a place to build and develop the necessary skills to tackle the emotional and mental health challenges posed by climate change and the ecological crisis? Then, the Resilience Academy will be your place!
"The Resilience Academy will focus on supporting the mental and emotional well-being of DAO members and promote resilience, inner regeneration, and Emotional Intelligence. There will be workshops, seminars, online courses, and interactive sessions to help members identify their unique strengths, talents, ikigai and learn practical ways to channel their energy effectively to be in service of the earth while maintaining healthy boundaries with their work."  - Day (head of the Resilience Academy)

Some examples of the content members will have access to include topics such as neurodiversity, nervous systems regulation, joyful navigation through chaos and collapse, burnout prevention, strengthening Emotional Intelligence (EQ) amid climate emergency, cultivating resilience in VUCA times, imagination for impact, climate creativity, transforming ideas into impactful action, and more!

The vision for the Resilience Academy is to support hundreds of activists, regens, Earth stewards, future builders, changemakers, paradigm shifters, visionaries, movers and shakers by providing the tools they need to make their work joyful and sustainable. We envision the Resilience Academy as a cozy community where members can learn, develop skills, and connect with others experiencing similar things.

The Resilience Academy also envisions climate and regeneration movements that are disability-inclusive and neurodiversity-inclusive, so there will be a lot of content to help people learn how to work with neurodiverse individuals, how to be more inclusive of people with disabilities and learning differences, and how to identify their neurodiverse superpowers in service of our planet.

The Resilience Academy is looking for feedback from YOU!

Monthly quote
“A real relationship with nature is vital for our magical and spiritual development, and our psychic and spiritual health. It is also a vital base for any work we do to heal the earth and transform the social and political systems that are assaulting her daily.”
