About
Auroville has been a hotspot for green work and social innovation since the 1970's.
The surrounding bioregion is closely connected to the Kazhuveli tank - one of the most crucial wetlands in South India, and home to the only viable man-made Tropical Dry Evergreen Forest (TDEF) habitat in the world! The landscape was once at the brink of desertification and is now full of sacred groves stewarded by local communities.
Our collective aims to build on this ecological legacy with web3 tools, including Monitoring Reporting and Verification (MRV) and distributed ledger technology to provide proof of regeneration and mobilise support from across the planet.
