About
Circle4Care is our open source solution aiming to help everyone involved in the process of care for the most vulnerable ones - the elderly or children with specific conditions.
Our aim is to build a software technology solution consisting of:
1. App with simplified design and functionalities for the people receiving care.
2. App with simplified design and functionalities for the caregivers.
3. App with more advanced features for the family members so they can have an overview of the entire information of the one cared for.
4. Web module for forming a care circle and information input by a selected administrator.
By interconnecting these elements, our software solution establishes a secure circle for sharing crucial health and contacts information. Our solution also encourages communication and connectivity through the exchange of photos, stories, and videos, creating a feel of inclusive family and community.
Mission and Focus:
Our open source software solution aims to achieve a global outreach with the objective of aiding the following groups:
2. App with simplified design and functionalities for the caregivers.

- Those receiving care, equipped with a user-friendly tool for accessing information and facilitating communication and photo sharing within their family.
- Those providing care, obtaining online access to patient care diaries and contacts of everyone engaged in the care process.
- Organisations in the support and charity sector, facing a deficiency in efficient tools for organising information about individuals and families they are aiding.
Key Features:
- Secure online space for caring and sharing focused on the care recipient.
- User-friendly app modes tailored for both the care recipient and the assistant.
- Care diary for the recipient, detailing medication, chronic conditions, dietary needs, GP information, and more.
- Seamless contact sharing among all members of the care circle.
- Family communication and sharing through shared photo albums, video collections, and photo stories.
Planned Stages:
- Design phase
- Web module development
- Simplified apps development
- Advanced apps development
- How to use documentation and tutorials
Solution and Impact:
Circle4Care aims to keep the individual receiving care at the forefront, preventing feelings of isolation or neglect. The secure storage and easy online accessibility of their care diary within a designated circle contribute to this person-centric approach.
Circle4Care will facilitate transparent communication between the family and the care professional, fostering a more collaborative and open relationship.
The open source solution can be embraced by diverse organisations, including support groups, charities, home care agencies, care homes, and families with the care recipient at the core.
If you decide to support our initiative your help will go towards our first planned stage - the design phase so you and everyone involved can actually see our ideas and provide feedback prior to the development phase.
Let's connect, care, and share!
