Today’s events in Gaza

Hello dear community,
We’ve watched the events of early this morning and throughout the day with horror and devastation. While families were sleeping, Israel launched massive strikes across Gaza without warning or provocation. Over 300 people have been killed, reports say the majority are women and children. Videos show babies and small children lying dead in the streets and on hospital floors.
I just want to give a brief update on our families, with more to follow once we have information. Most have checked in with us and are uninjured, but terrified and despairing. At least one family have already had to evacuate their home with their small children. Many others are staying put and waiting until they understand what is happening.
Here are some of the messages we’ve been receiving from our friends:

People in Gaza need to know that we will continue to stand by them - so if you are able, please consider putting out a message of support on social media and encouraging your friends and family to support Coffees for Gaza or other initiatives giving aid and resisting the genocidal alliance.
