Concatenate Conference

Our mission is to bring together speakers from around the world, both remote and on location in Lagos, to share knowledge. We will also provide a space for developers in the area to meet and create community.

Concatenate is an inclusive two-day event with technical talks from a variety of Frontend topics. These topics can range from JavaScript frameworks to design systems, animation to performance. The attendees are curious developers from a variety of backgrounds that would like to know more about Frontend development. Speakers are leaders in their field from around the world, as well as newer speakers giving technical talks.

We have a relaxed, respectful atmosphere, where attendees can ask questions even if they are remote. We will have a camera pointed to the audience as well so the speaker has feedback. The focus is both imparting knowledge, and in interaction between the speaker and community. The event planned around the conference are designed to build community, and have fun while learning.

We also have raffles and giveaways with an amazing MC who understands the community well. These gifts not only help people learn and encourage attendee growth after the event, but also keep the energy up through the two days of the event.
