About

Description
North Ayrshire is one of the more than twenty Scottish Council Area governments working with th CONSUL DEMOCRACY platforms. Scottish regulation requires the Council Areas to engage in Participatory Budgeting and spend 1% of its budgets through PB processes. This Meet-up will feature presentations by Laura Taylor, Community Economic Development Officer at the North Ayrshire Council Area, who implements digital participation processes using the CONSUL DEMOCRACY platform (https://northayrshire.communitychoices.scot/), and John Munro of local government network organization Cosla, who has worked on technical adaptation of the platform for Scottish use. After the presentations, there will be ample time for questions and answers.
