3D Printed PPE Visors for Frontline Medics

An Oxford-based voluntary collective supplying free PPE. We began by making 3D-printed face shields for local medics. With the global spread of COVID, we now supply professionally-made shields to care workers in the UK and around the globe.

I'm a 3d printer owner that would like to help print face shields. How do I go about helping? Thanks Seb

About

We are an Oxford-based collective who first came together rapidly to use 3D printers to urgently make 13,000 free PPE face shields for local medics; this was to protect them as they treated Covid-19 patients. From our main site covidprintoxford.com, you can see where we have donated.

We have now moved to a simple factory-made design optimised for posting internationally. We are donating free PPE face shields in their thousands to many African and South American countries. If there is a resurgence in the UK, we will continue to donate free face shields here. We will keep going as long as there is a need and we have funds for manufacture and distribution.

We are 3D printer owners, project managers, assemblers, outreach, admin, social media geeks, drivers, courier bikers, and medics all working together to help our NHS, care homes and schools... and now medics around the world.

All donations pay for visors and postage; all our time and management of our work is given for free by our volunteers.
