About

We are a dedicated team of passionate herbalists and healthcare professionals who believe in providing effective and low barrier herbal wound care to our houseless and drug-using community. Our volunteer-run clinic specializes in providing essential first aid and advanced wound care in a curbside setting. We use effective, plant-based techniques, while providing compassionate, trauma-informed care with the hope of restoring dignity, fostering community, and nurturing the spirit of resilience.
Our Mission: At Curbside Care Clinic, our mission is rooted in compassion and solidarity. We are committed to improving the lives of houseless individuals by offering them access to high-quality healthcare services that respect their dignity and individuality. Our focus on herbal wound care techniques, supported by scientific and empirical research, allows us to provide effective and holistic care that addresses both physical and emotional well-being.
What Sets Us Apart:
  • Evidence Based Herbalism: Our clinic is at the forefront of herbal wound care, blending traditional medicine with modern scientific knowledge. We prioritize evidence-based practices that ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
  • Community-Centered Approach: We understand the unique challenges faced by houseless and drug-using communities. Our approach goes beyond medical treatment; we forge connections, create safe spaces, and build a sense of belonging that empowers individuals to regain control over their health and lives.
  • Empowerment Through Education: Our commitment to making a lasting impact extends beyond our direct care. We offer comprehensive training programs to share our herbal wound care methods with other groups . By empowering more individuals and organizations, we contribute to a worldwide movement of compassionate care.
How We Help:
  • First Aid and Wound Care: Our skilled team of herbalists and healthcare workers provide immediate first aid and wound care services, specializing in ulcerated lesions and infected injection sites.
  • Harm Reduction: We strive to meet people where they are at, while working to reduce harm caused by marginalization and a lack of access to compassionate institutional care.
  • Workshops and Trainings: Through detailed workshops and comprehensive training sessions, we create an opportunity for organizations within the harm reduction community to provide effective herbal wound care in their own communities.
