Apologies for the prolonged silence. All funds have been sent to Mustafa, our journalist contact in Gaza, however at his end he is unable to collect it at the moment since a month ago due to companies not having internet access.

He is using his esim to communicate with us and has sent the below:

الشركات هنا تحتاج الي انترنت حتى يقوموا بالتواصل مع شركة ويسترين من خلال التطبيق
عندما اذهب للشركة و اعطيهم رقم التحويل
يقوموا بفحص الرقم و التواصل مع الشركة من خلال موقع شركة ويسترين  على الانترنت
و عندما يقوموا بالموافقة ، يقوم بإعطائي المبلغ

و لكن لا يوجد انترنت في الشركات هنا ، لان الانترنت و الارسال مقطوع في غزة

بالنسبة لنا نقوم بتركيب شريحة الكترونية وتشغيلها في المناطق العالية فقط
ولا يمكن للشركات الصعود فوق الابراج ولا خزانات المياه ايضاً

Translation: "My brother, companies here need the internet in order to communicate with Western Union through the application. When I go to the company and give them the transfer number,
they will check the number and contact the company through the Western Union website. When they agree, they give me the amount. But there is no Internet in companies here, because the Internet and transmission are cut off in Gaza. For us, we install an electronic chip and operate it in high-altitude areas only. Companies cannot climb the towers or water tanks either."

This is indeed not ideal. However, he is tasking the buying and distribution of period products immediately once internet and communications return.
