Doctrine is an open-source project focusing on database access from PHP. Sponsoring of our project will primarily go towards organizing team retreats. In addition we consider paying for infrastructure, smaller marketing expenses such as stickers. A higher budget may in the future enable us to pay contributors for maintenance.
