About
Food For Homeless Project
Food For Homeless Project (FFH) is a constituted community group based in Camden, dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, with particular outreach to refugees, asylum seekers, and other marginalised populations.
We provide essential supplies including food, hygiene packs, and survival gear while promoting dignity, inclusion, and access to long-term support.
FFH therefore prioritises support for individuals who may be excluded from mainstream services, including LGBTQ+ youth, disabled individuals, and people seeking asylum. Our work goes beyond emergency relief by offering a holistic, equity-driven approach to health and well-being in Camden.
We are committed to reducing inequalities and ensuring equitable access to our services. Our inclusive practices include.
• - Culturally appropriate meals, including Halal, vegetarian, and allergy-friendly options.
• - Tailored hygiene packs, including menstrual products for women and non-binary individuals.
• - Multiple service delivery sites across Camden to reach rough sleepers and those in shelters or temporary accommodation.
• - Multilingual volunteers to support non-English speakers and improve accessibility.
• - Partnerships with organisations advocating for racial, gender, and disability equity.
