About
Food Shift is an open collective nourishing and connecting people, projects and organisations in emerging regenerative food systems. Our work is mostly in Sweden for the moment.
We acknowledge that land management practices and the way that humans get the food that we need is both an overwhelming contributor to destructive patterns in our ecosystems AND possibly the best avenue we have of stabilizing the biosphere and creating conditions conducive to human (and other-than-human) health.
As a collective we want to enable humans to join in with the other life on the planet to create conditions conducive to life.
Our expenses at this point will primary go towards paying for things like hosting and software fees, network event participation fees and financing gatherings to enable cooperation.
We currently host the (discourse) dicussion forum at foodshift.se and are planning a number of explorations around learning, media production and collective support around the emergence of the regenerative food practitioners in Sweden and beyond.
