November Meetup

Every month anybody is welcome to come down and join us for our regular meetup. We currently have a small group of members mostly made up of people who are trying to improve their programming skills but some of us are already professional developers.

The group was born out of the Freecodecamp.org movement that is quite popular across the globe. It is an Open Source Community started by Quincy Larson whose aims are to make learning to code free and accessible to everybody on earth.

There is plenty of support both in their forums, on twitter and on their Gitter channels. It is completely free to attend the meetup and there is reliable wifi and basic amenities such as desk, chairs, toilets and water available as well.

In general we use the time in the meetup to ask each other for help and share what we have been working on and current issues on all things in the programming world. We do not use the time for putting our head down in our laptops and going hard out writing code.
