In memory of our beloved comrade Kirby, this scholarship funds individuals committed to radical care and mutual aid through EMT training.
About
In memory of our beloved comrade and fellow paramedic Kirby, this scholarship funds street medics, activists, and organizers through formal EMT training. The goal is to connect folks committed to radical care and mutual aid with a larger scope of practice. Additionally, EMT certification opens up employment opportunities, many of them union. One EMT course at the University of Minnesota (FSH's preferred course) costs $1700.
