Taiko is rooted in Japanese music traditions and continues to grow today as a global cultural arts movement that amplifies imagination, uplifts spirits, and builds community. When you contribute to GLTC or join as a GLTC Member, you are supporting our Taiko Arts & Culture programs which aim to provide learning opportunities in our communities, support performing artists in their work and play, and create cultural experiences that connect us to a world we make together. GLTC is a member-led organization that is fiscally sponsored by the nonprofit Open Collective Foundation and working towards a solidarity economy with democratic governance. GLTC Members enjoy access to our online & in-person classes and learning resources, local and virtual spaces for group meetings and practices, and Taiko Share equipment, with a pay-as-you-can monthly membership fee.
