Great Lakes Taiko Center (GLTC) 五大湖太鼓センター Taiko Arts Collective is a member-led arts & culture organization in Southeast Michigan USA, celebrating the empowering art of Japanese Taiko Drumming through education and performances since 2009.

Taiko is rooted in Japanese music traditions and continues to grow today as a global cultural arts movement that amplifies imagination, uplifts spirits, and builds community.

When you contribute to our GLTC Taiko Arts Collective, you help us develop programs that provide learning opportunities in our local communities, support performing artists in their practice and play, and create cultural connections in our experiences together – to share the Joy of Taiko!

Our collective works and plays towards a solidarity economy for a just and thriving society, in partnership with our nonprofit fiscal host Open Collective Foundation and in organizational affiliation with the NEW Center and CultureSource. We accept tax-deductible gift donations and payments for the Great Lakes Taiko Center (GLTC) Taiko Arts & Culture Collective with a transparent budget on this financial/legal/tech platform of Open Collective.
