Last week we reached a huge milestone on the production of our Common Unity documentary: picture-lock!

The film has stayed within our budgeted limit of 40 minutes and the production timeline has miraculously conformed to schedule. It's been months of work to get to this point – first writing the film, then reviewing 16 cuts in total from our editor, and a two-day extra shoot in Wellington for last-minute footage.

Now that it’s picture-locked, the composer can write the music score, the colourist can do the color grade, the sound design can go in and the whole film can be sound mixed.

We have some very exciting plans underway for the release later this year – a nationwide screening tour combined with full-day workshops watch this space!
