About
This will be a hybrid in-person and online training about Overdose Response techniques. We will go over responses to different types of overdose, as well as techniques to reduce risk of overdose. We will review the history and efficacy of nasal and intramuscular naloxone, and I will do demonstrations for both. Finally, we will look at the overdose crisis as a whole, how Overdose Prevention Sites can make a legitimate impact on the overdose crisis, and how the War on Drugs has contributed to our current position.
