Lewisham Donation Hub
We collect and organise community donations of all kinds, and then redistribute to those in acute hardship in SE London (and increasingly, beyond). Our project is entirely volunteer led and run, set up in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

About
The donations we take each week include homeware, electricals, clothing of all ages/genders, toys/books/games, laptops & desktops, kitchenware, white goods, food & sanitary items, furniture and items for new mum's. We receive enough donations each Sunday to support families throughout the entire week - with some families leaving with up to a van load of items.
We have become a major source of support for refugees, the homeless, those without recourse to public funds and others in acute financial hardship. We help based on need - and will never turn people away that have nowhere else to turn.
We are also proud to be a near zero waste project. We currently create around 1 cage load of waste each week - half of which is cardboard (which will soon be heading for composting rather than recycling).
Thank you for your support
