We created LLM4S as a community-driven, non-profit initiative to strengthen the long-term sustainability of reliable, type-safe, and production-ready LLM tooling for the Scala and JVM ecosystem. Our mission is to advance AI engineering in Scala while fostering an open, inclusive community of passionate developers and contributors.
Through LLM4S, we provide real-world experience in building LLM infrastructure such as RAG systems, agents, and tooling along with mentorship from experienced global maintainers and opportunities for paid, remote internships through programs like Google Summer of Code.
