NVC and Sociocracy for Social Change

This project is focused on peacebuilding by sharing NVC and Sociocracy and at the same time supporting CNVC certification candidates in gathering the experience in offering training, that is needed to get certified.
It is based on integrating both Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and Sociocracy in how we work together. NVC supports connection with self and others. Sociocracy supports team work in the spirit of partnership and “power with”. The two together strengthen appetite for feedback and learning together for the benefit of our project.

Our vision:

NVC and Sociocracy becomes well known in Africa as a process towards peace, conflict resolution and awareness of our interdependent nature.

Showcasing NVC and Sociocracy projects in Africa to inspire each other, and attract funding for NVC and Sociocracy training in the projects and also to offer training to people who are not yet working in an NVC and Sociocracy project.

Supporting NVC certification candidates and certified trainers in Africa, in their NVC work by sharing their stories on this platform and attracting donations to support their work in a way that nurtures their community.
We support the NVC work by also offering training in teamwork mainly in the form of learning about Sociocracy and offering training in how to develop a healthy organization where feedback culture is a natural part of the learning organization.

We favor projects that focus on bringing NVC to schools and other educational institutions, to homeless children and caregivers, to refugee camps and similar.
We support the members of the project in learning the skills needed to apply for bigger grants for their peacebuilding projects.
